About the Item

This very decorative chandelier was hand made in Italy in the 1950s. It has beautiful beaded detail to create the hull, rigging and sails, with an interesting crow's nest at the top of the mast - which is covered in tiny beads. Take a look at all our pictures to see the intricate construction. The 4 lights are shown here with the original 'candle' fittings - these can be replaced with new plain ones, if preferred. These fantastic lights are very difficult to find, especially ones of this high quality. We have had this light rewired. The height of 70cm is to the top of the ring at the top. This chandelier can of course be brought lower with a length of antiqued chain. A fantastic decorative light and definitely a talking point of any room!
