About the Item

A stunning 8-light chandelier from 19th century Italy, borrowing design elements from French rococo. This beautiful antique fixture is made of a slender wood column which has been finely hand-carved and given a lustrous gold gilt finish. Eight forged metal arms in textural, painted gilt appear as delicate acanthus leaves extending from the central torch, each holding a candle cover. Professionally cleaned and rewired for use in the US using UL-listed components, the fixture uses eight candelabra bulbs. Please view the detailed images. 16” chain wire 5” canopy
