About the Item

A most unique and high quality Italian 19th century Neo-Classical st. patinated bronze and ormolu lantern. The lantern displays three charming and wonderfully executed winged cherubs each holding hands and supporting the most impressive central ormolu crown with shell and scrolled designs decorated by acanthus leaves large stars. Three chains lead to the top patinated bronze and ormolu canopy with large lovely acanthus leaves.
