About the Item

A most elegant and charming Italian 19th century six light gilt metal, giltwood and crystal Genovese chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a fine and wonderfully executed hand blown fig shaped pendant surrounded by a beautiful array of crystal pendants. Each C scrolled gilt metal arm displays a giltwood and pressed gilt metal candle cup and an outstanding unique teal and red colored bead above a cut crystal pendant with an etched star design. At the center is a carved giltwood urn encased by the gilt metal supports leading up to the gorgeous top crown with additional cut crystals and colored beads. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
