About the Item
An Italian double lantern pendant from the 1960s, its cylindrical shades woven in warm bamboo. Each hangs from a chain of bent bamboo links, joined by a central brass crossbar and finished with a new, satin-brass canopy.
The open-grid construction leaves the bulbs visible—casting a patterned glow when lit, the warm tones of bamboo deepening to amber.
Condition: Great vintage condition with a rich patina to the bamboo. Minor surface wear and small splits consistent with age, along with a few careful repairs. Brass components show oxidation and finish loss. This fixture has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new wire, canopy, and sockets. Accepts two E12 light bulbs.
