About the Item

Italian mid-century chandelier manufactured by the company AV MAZZEGA in the 1960s. 17 cognac-coloured, oval Murano glass medallions with a size of 32x12cm form the conical lamp. The glass medallions are double-storeyed, i.e. staggered, so that there is no gap. At the outer edge, the medallion is somewhat thicker towards the inside, the glass fibres are thinner and abstractly superimposed, condensing the surface. The individual glass parts are drilled in the middle at the top and are hung on a small hook and fixed with a scraped-on metal cap. The result is an abstract, modern glass object that shines in different, warm cognac tones. The lamp has 5 sockets with E27 thread. The height of the lamp can be extended by the chain, but also shortened. The corpus without chain has a diameter of 38cm and a height of 55cm.
