About the Item
Rare Mid-Century Modern woven wicker wire and rattan pendant lamps / lanterns with textured glass rhombus, Italy, 1950s-1960s.
The woven wicker conic shades of these lamps are accented by textured rhombus shaped amber glasses. They hang from a chain with round rattan links that can be cut in case you would like to make it shorter.
The design of these lamps is very unusual, it was not usual at the period to mix wicker and rattan with glass in this kind of handcrafted lamps, so we think these pendants were made to order pendants.
These lanterns will be a nice addition hanging over a kitchen's table or dining area and will add a fresh and modern accent to any ambiance. Perfect for a beach house or countryside house.
Measures: 34,5 cm diameter x 28 cm height (body of the lamp); total height to the top 68 cm height ( including chain and canopy)
