About the Item
The crystal drops and beads are hand-cut glass and give off a deep sparkle that cannot be replicated by machine cut crystals, each arm and detail of the frame was also hand-forged and gilded, pre-industrial craftsmanship. The Rococo influence is apparent with its curving arms and ornate scrolls. The patina of the metal framework shows signs of aging and oxidation adding character and value.
