Italian Space Age Chrome and Glass Pendant Light, 1970s
Striking Italian Space Age pendant light from the 1970s, featuring a rare pull-down mechanism that allows the height to be adjusted with ease. The design includes a chrome ceiling cup, a central chrome sphere that houses the coiled cable, and a handblown yellow glass globe framed by a floating chrome ring. This combination of functionality and sculptural form gives the piece its distinctive futuristic character, making it a quintessential example of Italian Space Age design.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Both the chrome ceiling cup and the central chrome sphere show vertical line cracks (see photos). These do not affect stability or functionality. The glass globe is intact and in excellent condition.
