About the Item

A monumental Italian chandelier from the 1950s, in the manner of Oscar Torlasco, spanning over three feet in diameter. Ten arched arms in white-lacquered metal radiate outward in a bold, architectural composition, paired with blackened metal supports and joined by small brass fittings. Exposed bulbs crown each arm, casting a warm, even glow.  Suspended from a brass stem and white canopy, the design carries the spirit of midcentury Sputnik chandeliers—striking in scale and presence, ideal above a dining table, in a grand entry, or anchoring a living space. Condition: Great vintage condition. The white lacquered arms show light surface wear, small scratches, and patina consistent with age. Brass stem and fittings display a warm, aged patina with minor oxidation. Blackened metal supports retain an even finish, with subtle wear at the joints. This chandelier has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new wire, thread, canopy, and sockets. Accepts ten E12 base light bulbs. Additional Dimensions: OAH: 37"; Drop: 24"; Canopy: 5"Diameter x 1"H
