About the Item

Mid-Century style suspension lamp in the style of Jean Rispal's creations. Pine wood structure in green/brown tone with satin varnish finish, with a beige ovoid-shaped lampshade made of pleated cellulose acetate (acrylic commonly called "rhodoïd") with a white lacquered metal interior structure. This particular lamp is from the Spanish brand Taberluz, whose creations are very similar to those of Jean Rispal for Maison Rispal, such as his famous floor lamp "Mantis Religiosa". The Rispal brand was founded by Georges Léon Rispal in 1924, and is known throughout its existence for its designs of novel, biomorphic and organic shapes. For an E27 bulb. Original electrical installation revised and new wiring in light gray tone with 155cm of lenght. Slight signs of wear on the wood.
