About the Item

Danish midcentury modern warm orange yellow glass pendant by acclaimed designer Johannes Hammerborg for Fog Mørup using Holmegaard glass. This model called Pisa (E 5924) was shown in the Fog Morup catalogue in 1963 with the words: "modern up-to-date shape, finished in flashed glass of pure colours". Slender cylinder shaped smooth glass with opaline white inside to softens the light. Architectural midcentury piece in excellent condition with original teak top and teak canopy. Porcelain fitting for max 75W. Rewiring upon request. Denmark, 1963.
