Alistair T Suspension lamp, model Alistair T, designed by Jordi Vaciana in 2013. Manufactured by Parachilna. Structured in golden or graphite matt electroplated steel. Cylindrical diffuser in blown opal matt glass. Canopy in white matt lacquered steel. Formed by basic geometric shapes; circle base, squared structure and opal hand-blown glass cylindrical diffuser. This lamp is just elegant. Jordi Veciana earned his degree in Barcelona but worked for designers like Massimo Vignelli and Ralph Lauren while living in New York at the beginning of his career. In 1998 he opened his own studio in Barcelona focusing on Lighting Design, Hospitality and Retail Design. In July 2017 Jordi Veciana and Skye Maunsell founded Montoya, a professional nexus and network for creative communities. Since then, both collaborate in projects focused on Lighting Design, Interior Design and Architecture. About the manufacturer: Dedicated to decorative lighting, PARACHILNA was born from our love of luxury. Their idea of luxury is about the integrity of the design, the quality of the materials and the artisanal craftsmanship that creates it. Preserving the skills and knowledge of the few remaining metalsmiths, glass blowers, ceramists and other skilled craftsmen in Europe and, hopefully, in the rest of the world. lamps and most of our components are assembled and made by cutting edge technology machines: humans. There’s someone that took out the ceramic from the mould, someone that blew the glass and someone that mounted the lamp and packed it. All those persons imprint their energy in each fixture. That makes them unique and one of a kind. We believe that human-made is the best made!
