About the Item
The starting point of Angela Ardisson’s creative process for the new collection is a single and precise shape: the sphere.
The study of its geometric volume and a rational composition of all interlocking elements has guided her towards a very clean design.
No technical or mechanical disturbance interferes with the purity of the shape.
That’s why she decided to avoid welding and went instead for very precise turnings, to assemble all the pieces.
In the creation of the Kepler collection, I had the honor to gather the most skilled Italian artisans using highly advanced cutting technologies (laser-cut and water-jet) but also the more traditional glass hand-blowing and twisting processes.
The only and final supervisor during all work phases was the caliper and all measures were to the tenth.
The glass is hand-twisted with fire and it spreads its warm light right from the heart of the lamp. The polished brass surfaces are filtered by the transparency of the glass layer, with a reciprocal exchange of uninterrupted light reflection effects.
The metal of the Kepler lamps goes through several modification phases, which I personally carried out. She can obtain unique coats and textures reveiling themselves on the shiny brass surface, like in a vintage mirror. The symbol of this collection is “the reflection” and Angela Ardisson is searching for its purest form through her modern alchemical approach.
The K30 and K50 floor models, in spite of the volume and weight of the materials used, are extremely light, both in terms of their visual size and specific weight. These floor lamps will enrich the living areas and relax points in the house with elegant light reflections and a touch of personal elegance.
All models of Kepler floor and ceiling lamps are real compositions of the smallest shape, the K15, mounted on different load-bearing structures, housing from 1 (the table lamp and the wall lamp) up to a maximum of 4 lamps, as in the case of the ceiling and self-standing lamps.

Angela Ardisson
Angela Ardisson is an Italian artist specializing in product design. She has been pursuing her creative and design activity since 1987, exploring the boundless universe of matter. Metals, since 1994, have been the key factor of the most creative moments of her career: brass, iron, bronze, silver and copper melted together and mixed with blown glass.
The passion for multi-disciplinary design defines her artistic eclecticism.
She has taken part in the Milan Design Week/Fuori Salone every year since 1989, often joining more events at the same time. Yesterday as today, the most outstanding signature of her art
is the combination of lines and chromatic shades due to the natural oxidation of metals,
which are organically treated. The love for light, shadows and reflections is the leitmotiv
of her entire work, which she likes to define “the art of living matter”. In 2000 she founded Artplayfactory, her workshop and creative studio in Milan, where she currently works and creates. She has been collaborating with Baxter since 2013 and her brass suspension lamp “Lais” is still successfully featured in their collections.

The suspension lamp Elda was Angela Ardisson’s first glass lamp, born as a single piece in 2017. The name of this light project is a tribute to her maternal grand- mother, Elda Garrisi, who lived between the 30s and 80s. She was elegant and charming and had a passion for the Art Deco furniture and ornaments, from which this lamp draws inspiration.? Resembling the Venetian Murrine, Elda’s hand-twisted glass pole encapsulates an elongated brass section containing a LED light source.
Thanks to these stratifications, Elda’s brass looks like melted gold from which light transpires. A dimmable special liquid light, strong but shoots in the same time by the color of the same light I use for it. Its suspended pole has a reclining junction.
With its 3 cm of diameter, the Elda suspension lamp can be described as a very thin spear of light, and, among all of Angela Ardisson’s lamps, it is certainly the most versatile for any interior project.
The process of hand-twisting the glass around itself undoubtedly enhances the charming elegance of this lamp.
Thanks to its aesthetic minimalism and technical light features, the Elda lamp coexists with the most diverse interior architectures.
This hanging lamp also comes in a wall version, both vertical and horizontal. Elda suspended lamp is well suited to light up tables...

CB/ASYM Chandelier Etched Brass, Porcelain, Glass Handmade Andrea Claire Studio
By Andrea Claire Studio
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Cloudbreak ASYM V1. et. oak is a mobile fixture with one-of-kind finishes and textures. It is part of our Claire Concepts category, an evolving exploration in lighting that concentrates on the unique and experimental.
Named after Fiji’s famous "Cloudbreak" surf spot, this collection takes cues from the wild colors and shapes of the corals that create these incredible waves. Our cast porcelain clouds mimic the ends of the Stylaster species of coral, which is common in Fiji. The glass diffusers reveal swirls and white-water like patterns and the sea themed etched metal completes the flow of an otherworldly interplay of texture, light, and shadow.
The ASYM.V1 has 3 radiating brass arms hanging at a slight tilt, like a soul-surfer riding a wave.
Brass arms, stems and canopies are patterned with a sea inspired etched drawings, hand drawn by Andrea. Etched brass is offered in a Tamarind Patina or in a Natural Waxed finish.
Gently balancing on the arms are 1 or 2 coral inspired decorative porcelain shapes called “clouds”. Each cloud is hand glazed multiple times by Andrea to achieve the desired color and texture.
There are 3 hand-blown glass diffusers with Venetian optic twist Grey or Opal & Alabaster. Representing the white water of cresting waves, each piece of glass is finished with three rolls of glinting silver leaf.
The ASYM.V1 has a customizable diameter of between 37 to 43” and it is the largest configuration in the Cloudbreak Luminaire Collection. This fixture is ideal for dining tables, bedrooms, sitting rooms, and dressing areas. It’s unique textures and sea inspired themes will make any space feel special and elevated. Please inquire for custom arrangements.
