A most elegant and high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu, frosted and cut glass, twelve light chandelier , in the manner of Henri Dasson. The chandelier with the a bottom acorn finial has four 'C' scrolled maidens flanking central oval frosted glass with a beveled border. The oval frosted glass inserts are surrounded by a lattice beaded design with rosettes, all below a pierced acanthus leaf wreath. The classical maidens have 'C' scrolled arms which lead to saucers with grape vines and fluted candle cups with beaded bobeches.
