Antique Moonstone Pendant Light with Original Aged Brass Fittings Rare oversized 12 inch diameter shades with elegant fluted design, tapered curve and scalloped edge to the thick quality moulded moonstone glass. Original heavy cast brass gallery fittings with natural aging and patina. English Made circa 1920 Glass is in excellent condition with no chips. The thick moonstone opal glass emits a beautiful soft and diffused light. The light comes completes and ready to hang wired in our premium fabric black twist cable and matchings ceiling rose and chain. Artist figure is 6’1” to give an idea of scale. It is made by adding a small amount of tin oxide to molten glass, which gives it a milky white or cream color. Moonstone glass is often used to create a soft, diffused light, and it can be found in a variety of shapes and sizes. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
