One of a kind and superb condition, extra large ( diameter 38.6 inches) pendant light.
If you have a passion for sculptural and meaningful Art then this antique and fully hand carved owl chandelier could be flying your way soon (no pun intended). Because of its size and quality it must have taken one very skilled German artisan weeks rather than days to fully handcarve this unique light fixture. With a diameter of 38.6 inches this is one of the largest, hand carved wooden chandeliers that we ever had the pleasure of offering. Luckily the former owners (who had a relatively low ceiling) saved the extra wooden beans chain so that we can extend the height with another 17.5 inches. At the center of this work of beauty and overlooking your living space is a very beautiful large handcarved sculpture of a owl. This too leads us to believe that this one of a kind fixture is from the German Black Forest region. With the owl being the international symbol for wisdom and learning, this sizable sculpture also gives this work of lighting art its deeper meaning. It is this extra quality too that makes that this chandelier will never fail to impress, no matter where you decide to have her on display.
This unique chandelier too is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and you will even be able to use your regular American bulbs.
