About the Item
Stylish large chandelier /ceiling lamp, model Atomic. In beautiful condition. Designed by Trix
Robert Haussmann, made for Swiss Lamps, 1960/70s.
Base in aluminium and white plastic. Adjustable height. In good condition, few signs of age and wear.

Robert learned from architecture greats Johannes Itten, Gerrit Rietveld, and Willy Guhl; Trix Haussmann studied under Valerio Olgiati and Ernst Gisel. They have created an extensive portfolio of work, both within arhictecture and furniture design. Robert was a professor of architecture at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart until 1996. She was an associate professor for architecture at the ETH Zürich until 2002.
