Top class, hand carved and layered alabaster multi-color shade, 4-light chandelier.
Thanks to its timeless design, aesthetic beauty, large size and great condition this antique alabaster chandelier is bound to light up both your days and evenings, both in summer and winter time. It is all hand-crafted in the earliest years of the 1900s and because it is hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster, it must have taken the artisan(s) weeks rather than days to first design this work of beauty on paper and then hand carve it to perfection. As you can see in our images, the final product of their artisanship is an absolute joy to look at and you will immediately realize that they don't make 'em like this anymore.
The red veins combined with other color veins in this marble-like mineral stone pendant contrast even more beautiful when the light is switched on, because the already marvelous colorful alabaster then turns into an even warmer spectacle of colors. We could shoot a hundred photos, but you, again, still would not be able to see the true beauty of this spectacular shade and matching brass color chain.
For it to still be in this amazing condition after 100+ years is like an ode to the craftsmanship of early 20th century artisans. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit extra and this stunning pendant is no exception. Our regular clients (designer and private ones) have learned to take our word for it. Both with the light on and off its aesthetic beauty will never go unnoticed. This four-light chandelier too is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the 'chain' we (or you) can also shorten the drop to one that would be ideal for you.
