About the Item
Manufactured during the height of post-war British industry, this impressive run of large industrial green enamel pendant lights dates to the 1950s and originally illuminated a factory in Liverpool, England. Following the building’s closure, each fitting was carefully salvaged and has since been professionally restored, retaining the honest character and surface detail earned through decades of use.
The substantial two-part shade is finished in deep green vitreous enamel with a contrasting white interior, designed to deliver a bright, efficient spread of light. A polished metal upper gallery completes the classic industrial form, with original elements and subtle signs of age preserved to honour the fixture’s mid-century provenance.
With a generous diameter of approximately 410mm, these pendants make bold statement pieces when used individually and are particularly striking when installed in multiples. Ideal for kitchens, studios, workshops, restaurants, bars, retail spaces, and expansive open-plan interiors.
Each light has been re-wired with new CE-certified or UL-listed electrical components for orders to the USA. Supplied with a ceiling hanging kit allowing for a standard drop of 100cm from ceiling to base of the fixture; additional drop length can be provided on request.
