About the Item
Monumental Crystal and Brass 31-Light Chandelier circa 1950 with an important cage structure embellished with a multitude of shaped crystals, pinnacles at the top, pendants in the shape of fan, daisy and faceted almonds, crystal festoons connecting the arms ending in flower-shaped bobeges. This antique chandelier consists of four shaped brass uprights with a square cross-section on which the thirty lights are arranged in three tiers of height. The electrical system has been redone according to European standards and is designed with two separate lightings that provide lighting for twenty-five or six bulbs. The chandelier is wired for a maximum power of 500 watts.
Works with 30 E14 bulbs and one E27 bulb, not included.
The frame of this monumental mid-20th century chandelier was completely disassembled, cleaned, polished, and protected with Zapon protective brush paint. The window clasps were replaced in their entirety. The chandelier is now in excellent condition, ready to light a large room.
The central light with E27 socket at the bottom of the chandelier is masked by a shaped glass dome. This had a sharp break in the crystal that was glued and gilded according to the kintsugi technique, and from below it is now minimally perceptible.
The chandelier is of Italian origin and comes from a villa in Emilia, dates back to the mid-1900s. It weighs 43kg.
Due to the considerable diameter of this antique chandelier, in order to consetire its transportation, classified chandelier arms can be disassembled in order to pass it through the doors. With a video and instructions for assembly they will be easily reassembled once they reach their final destination.
Transportation and packing within a wooden crate are not included in the price.

Lampadario Italiano della metà XX secolo in Cristallo Bohemia a 12 bracci. Elegante lampadario da sala in cristallo di Bohemia a dodici luci del 1950 circa; il fusto centrale a balaustro formato da vasi di vetro stampato è delimitato nelle estremità inferiori e superiori da due coppe in cristallo, internamente dorate al mercurio, decorate da pendenti a cuspide distanziati con ottagono.
Dalla coppa centrale dipartono dodici bracci in cristallo pieno, a voluta semplice e dalla superficie sfaccettata; i relativi piattelli hanno le stesse finiture delle coppe dorate ed in corrispondenza di questi ed a metà di ogni braccio troviamo un pendente in cristallo piatto a losanga sagomata.
Tra i bracci troviamo eleganti pastorali curvi in cristallo pieno, con la superficie sfaccettata, ai quali sono appesi dei pendenti identici a quelli dei bracci.
Il lampadario proviene da una villa privata di Milano.
Il lampadario è stato elettrificato secondo gli standard europei per una potenza totale di watt 1000 divisi su due linee. Idoneo per 12 lampadine Edison 14
