Our journey began with the discovery of a dried Lotus flower during an inspiring trip, sparking the idea to transform this botanical wonder into unique lamps. Partnering with "Duplex" allowed us to merge creativity with cutting-edge 3D printing technology, resulting in the awe-inspiring Lotus collection.
What sets "The Lotus" apart is not just its aesthetic appeal but also its commitment to sustainability. Crafted using PLA-based filaments and upcycled natural waste, each lamp is a testament to our dedication to eco-friendly living. The filaments are 100% bio-sourced and naturally colored through the upcycling of waste, making them a conscious choice for the environmentally aware consumer.
For this project, we meticulously selected two distinct filaments with unique stories. The dark filament, made from beer residue, and the lighter filament, sourced from scallop shell residue, come together to create a harmonious blend of organic elegance. Proudly manufactured in Brussels, Belgium, "The Lotus" embodies the spirit of responsible production.
