About the Item

Beautiful large basket chandelier made of lost-wax gilded bronze, embellished with crystals. It features 24 lights, with arms shaped like a stylized cornucopia, also in gilded bronze, and small crystal pendants. The structure is divided by two gilded bronze bands decorated with floral motifs and theatrical masks, recalling a classical taste and Pompeian style. These bands are connected by almond-shaped and cut crystal chains. The upper part is decorated with a gilded bronze plant motif from which crystals hang. The chandelier is in good condition and, thanks to its elegance and refinement, can furnish any space with class. French manufacture from the Napoleon III period, around the mid-19th century.
