About the Item
An exceptional and beautifully proportioned 12-light rock crystal and glass prism chandelier, possibly from the iconic firm of Maison Baguès in Paris. The wrought iron cage (frame) is silver-leafed. Originally this was a candle light fixture and was electrified and reworked in the early 20th century to its current elegant state.
In excellent antique condition.
Hanging chain is adjustable on buyers specification if desired.
Please note that this is a heavy fixture with an estimated weight of 150 lbs.
