This beautiful and superb condition 19.7 inch in diameter, handcarved alabaster 3-light fixture is a true masterpiece.
Thanks to its impressive size and timeless design, this alabaster chandelier from the Arts and Crafts era stands out as one of the most beautiful carved models we've had the pleasure of selling. We’ve said it before, but an antique light fixture like this will undoubtedly brighten both your days and evenings.
The black veins, along with the translucent veins and patches, become even more striking when the light is turned on. The alabaster, which already boasts a beautiful white hue, transforms into a radiant, moon-like glow. The exceptional design, paired with a large, modern black painted metal canopy, ensures this piece will enhance any room or style of interior.
No matter how many photos we take, they can’t quite capture the true beauty of this fixture. The magic of this antique alabaster chandelier can only be fully appreciated in person, where its rich details truly shine. This large specimen is even more remarkable due to the 7 putti carvings that adorn the shade, complete with beautifully carved rounded edges. Hand-carved from a single block of alabaster, this pendant is as solid and durable as the day it was first crafted, over a century ago.
The stylish chains and matching canopy serve as the perfect finishing touch to this work of art. Rewired to the highest standards, this chandelier is ready for immediate use in the USA. Our US clients will easily be able to use three standard American screw-thread bulbs and the fixture is also compatible with LED bulbs.
