About the Item

Vintage Industrial Japanese flameproof cast bronze ceiling light fitted with Edison squirrel cage filament bulb made in the 1990s by Kokosha - Osaka, Japan. These fixtures also feature brass cable grips and brass wire cage. These flameproof rated fixtures of outstanding build quality are reclaimed from hazardous areas on super tankers and cargo ships. They are designed to withstand the harshest of conditions i.e. explosions, fire as well as moisture and water ingress. 9kg of solid bronze with a brass cage and cable grips all polished professionally to a two-tone finish (part bead blasted and part mirror polish). Measures: Width 23cm Height 20cm Weight 9kg Bulb - E27 Edison Squirrel Cage All lights are professionally re-wired in-house to exceed British Standards using CE approved components. Dimensions and weights are approximate. For all orders to USA, UL listed bulb holders and 100v bulbs will be fitted. All lights are sold ready for use in your home or commercial installation.
