About the Item
This is a Classic Louis XVI style, offering a highly decorative light source filtered through exquisite graduated lead crystal beads, together with six torch-shaped electrified "candles". The primary decoration is acanthus leaf both around the rim and on the scrolling supports. With a dimmer this would provide a variable light strength from muted to bright. It would serve well equally in a dining room, hall or formal setting.
