About the Item

TRIPLE DROP Pendant Nathan created this design while at the Pilchuck glass school, challenging himself to develop designs that fit well in modern and contemporary spaces. You can see physical examples of these fixtures and the tabletop Loupe at Vetri Gallery in Seattle, or in our studios in Monterey California. His choice of the form was intended to create reference to the natural organic shapes that inspire him. By incorporating the lenses into the shapes, he realized they could be used by designers who are hoping to add warm soft ambient light from the overall form, while also allowing a surface illuminating, featuring spot of light below. Loupes are available in single-drop pendants or multi-drop fixtures, this particular listing is for the triple drop pendant. Triple Drop pendants have three individual Loupe pendants mounted with three brass tube drops from a single 4.5" canopy. Each comes with its own wiring to a single fixture. We can customize this canopies with up to 8 Loupes per single canopy, and more from larger canopies. If you are looking for larger multi-drop chandeliers using the loupe fixtures, contact us for custom options. Each Loupe pendant comes with integrated mounting hardware and canopies. We recommend you use lighting professional or general contractors for installation. FIXTURE The Loupe fixture itself is hand blown by a glass artist with a unique shape for each and so will vary from 8-12" wide x 4-6" tall. All will have their lens facing downward unless otherwise requested in a special order. SUSPENSION Multi drop - Individual pendants are suspended from a single included canopy by three metal tubes up to 36" in length, which may be too long in certain situations. Please confirm max drop length at order time. We are happy to tailor shorter at no extra cost or lead time. Longer drops are available as well, but will incur an extra charge. METAL FINISHES Natural Brass (pictured) Brushed Nickel, Black (pictured) LAMPING Single Socket per Loupe Bulbrite, G4 LED (bulb included) 3000K CRI 90+ Standard. (warm) Fully compatible dimming Optional - 6000K Bright bulbs are available as option and easy to swap out after the fact if you prefer. CERTIFICATIONS UL, cUL listed (120V) MOUNTING Universal ceiling mount; hardwired, requires professional installation. CUSTOMIZATION LIGHTING - Pricing assumes one LED per Loupe. DROP LENGTH - We provide 6"-36" drop length for all of our drops. But we can easily customize this. Please indicate preferred drop length in your notes when ordering.
