French Art Deco Pendant Chandelier by Loys Lucha, 1920s. Elegant and rare French Art Deco pendant chandelier by Loys Lucha, crafted in France during the 1920s. This striking ceiling light features a hand-enameled and etched glass shade suspended from a beautifully detailed bronze and stamped brass fixture.
The enameled floral or geometric pattern on the frosted glass reflects the signature Art Deco style, blending refined craftsmanship with bold decorative elements. The glass is signed “Loys Lucha”, a mark of authenticity from one of the most respected glass art studios of the early 20th century (see photos for signature detail).

About Loys Lucha:
Founded by Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon, Loys Lucha was based in Paris (31 rue Fernand Pelloutier, Billancourt) and Nancy. Active from the 1910s to the 1930s, Les Verreries d’Art de Loys Lucha were renowned for their exquisite glass enameling techniques and high-quality decorative lighting. The name “Loys Lucha” combines the founder’s first name (Louis) with a shortened form of his surname (CHAfard-LUçon).
