About the Item
Italian late mid-century Murano glass chandelier with honey-gold leaves, Murano 1990s
The object is magnificent and restrained at the same time.
Conical in shape towards the bottom, narrowly tapering leaf ends meet.
8 rows of leaves built on top of each other on a brass support frame form a glass object with a warm and subdued appearance.
The leaves have a naturalistic structure, with a slight movement and veins.
Tiny glass particles are attached to the inside of the leaf, which refract the light through their sandy structure and give the object a velvety soft light character.
There are 10 light bulbs distributed at different heights.
The corpus is 70cm high and 80cm in diameter, the height is 1.30cm total, but can be shortened and lengthened.
