About the Item
The Lunara Pendant explores the relationship between planetary bodies and the moon by pairing a semi-dome with a hand sculpted diffuser to create a piece that beautifully mimics the stellar interplay of these celestial entities. Inspired by iconic imagery from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, the design recreates the moment one entity passes in front of another. The dome is lined with a metallic amethyst color inside of an dark grey exterior that's further complimented with a bubbled finish on the interior that creates an organic ethereal feel reminiscent of seeing a distant planet . The 13" dome is then paired with a diffuser, bubbled to resemble a lunar landscape, that projects a refracted array of light that further interacts with the bubbled, metallic color to create an otherwordly presence in any home or living environment. Each pendant comes furnished with a UL-wired Edison based socket, a 4 watt LED bulb and ceiling canopy kit with hardware to install into a standard ceiling junction box. Wiring for locations to code different than UL will require custom net pricing.
