The Marea lighting collection is an exploration of organic forms inspired by marine life and underwater seascapes. Marea translates to ‘the sea’ in Romanian and the collection is informed by designer Andreea Avram Rusu’s childhood summers on the Black Sea and her love of scuba diving.
The Marea Four-Pendant Chandelier is a flexible and customizable arrangement of three pendant types in layered handblown glass with delicate brass chains. Composed of one Aurelia, two Large Leidyi, and one Small Leidyi pendant, the chandelier forms an elegant yet casual arrangement above a dining table or entry space.
Avram Rusu Studio is a Brooklyn based design studio known for impeccably crafted and distinctly sculptural work.

AVRAM RUSU STUDIO
Avram Rusu Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio known for distinctly sculptural work. Founded by architect Andreea Avram Rusu in 2004, the Brooklyn based company specializes in finely crafted and beautifully detailed products made in the US. The studio works closely with many New York based artists and artisans including glass blowers, ceramic artists, metal workers, machinists, finishers and wood workers. All pieces are designed, and prototyped in the Avram Rusu Brooklyn studio.

Glass: taupe, charcoal, amber, and white. //
Select a single glass color. All colors have a range of tones with no two shades being exactly alike. Specialty finishes, glass colors, configurations, and drop lengths are only available through the studio.
