Maria S.C. chandelier is made from laboratory test tubes, set in two metal bands. Surprising material and geometric shape makes this lamp both classic and modern. It recalls Art Deco forms in a unique contemporary way. The use of ready-made objects gives a feeling of Marcel Duchamp idea. The lamp is named after the Polish scientist, Maria Sklodowska-Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The tubes are detachable. By creating a variety of arrangements, the lamp provides many options for visual experiment. Flowers are not included.

Pani Jurek
Pani Jurek is an eponymous design and manufacturing studio focused on lighting and objects founded by Magda Jurek. It is located in Poland. We design and manufactures artisanal contemporary lighting and functional objects. Pani Jurek's last lighting and furniture collection TRN is a homage to the art of Jan Tarasin. "Looking for the form of an object, placing things in the space or building the relation between them, is all “visual thinking” to me. I am also a painter by education and picture thinker. I believe we all are. Furnishing the apartment or setting the table, more or less consciously, means that everyday we are creating an infinite number of compositions, that all refer to our sense of harmony and proportion" - Magda Jurek
