About the Item

This is a very interesting and matching pair of lamps. They are priced and sold as a pair. The 15 inch diameter smooth outer shade is milk glass and has a graceful swiping profile. The inner elongated acorn shade has a frosted glass finish with a hammered pattern. That shade is framed with a dark cast brass protective floral surround. The lamps crown is a brass and cast plaster dome. The horse hair plaster tells me it could be very early. It may have beed a gas lamp at one time. The glass is all colorless but looks more amber in the photos. That color is from the antique style light bulbs within. The lamp hight is 12 inches plus whatever pipe drop length you need.
