About the Item

An industrial ceiling lamp designed by Max Laser in 1955 for the Swedish manufacturer Herman Wulfsson. Constructed from white-lacquered steel with oak and brass details, it features a telescopic arm and a matching ceiling canopy. The lamp is fitted with a spherical shade upholstered in the Mehiläispesä (“Beehive”) textile by Maija Isola for Marimekko. Its design allows the light source to be positioned almost anywhere in the room, with the shade adjustable vertically and the fixture both rotatable and length-adjustable. This makes it possible to move the light freely without the need for additional hooks or ceiling fittings. Adjustable length: 120–190 cm. Shade diameter: 30 cm.
