About the Item

Mazzega was founded in 1946 with the goal of breathing new life into the centuries-old craft of glass-making. The company collaborated with various artists and designers, many of who worked in different mediums. The result was glass works that appealed to more contemporary tastes by introducing new shapes and textures, utilizing traditional methods of production. This multi-tiered chandelier uses stalactite-shaped, pulegoso glass to create a unique fixture that is as much a work of art as it is a functional light fixture.
