About the Item

Circa 1970, we offer these original pendant light, these are one of the most stunning samples of Brutalist art designed by Felipe Delfinger. Made of iron and multicolored blown glass. About Felipe Delfinger: In the year 1860, the German Derflinger family arrived at Mexico City. Who founded the Feders factory, Felipe Derflinger was in charge of the factory and sought to develop the glass blowing technique by handling recipes and formulas out of the ordinary craftsmanship. Among the materials used in Felipe's works is brass, tiles and metals. All this combined with the great glass techniques blown as is sterilized and hand-pressed glass. The Derflinger family combined the magic of glass with materials and forms of styles that would create trends that would allow the creation a fashion with personality that will last for centuries. The artworks of the Derflinger family to this day continue to be a trend.
