This striking twelve-light chandelier, designed and made by Miamar Home in Los Angeles, captures the timeless charm of antique Italian wrought iron lighting while offering the reliability of contemporary craftsmanship.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by Los Angeles-based artisans, employing traditional metalworking techniques to achieve an authentic, time-softened patina. The circular iron frame is suspended from a delicate crown of stylized acanthus leaves, finished in a layered gilt and antiqued verdigris wash. Twelve gracefully scrolled arms extend outward, terminating in petal-like bobeches with realistic faux wax candle sleeves, creating the illusion of a centuries-old fixture lovingly preserved.
Although newly made, this chandelier embodies the soul of a Tuscan farmhouse or an Italian villa, with its subtle layering of gilded tones, soft weathered greens, and warm iron undertones.
