About the Item

These vintage industrial lights are cast aluminium and were designed to be explosion proof. Designed to light mines, obviously if the lights go out you are in serious trouble! The glass is roughly 1 inch thick. These were made in the 1950's in former East Germany. These were painted grey which we have removed and polished the aluminium. Fitted with new E27 copper bulb holders, supplied with LED filament bulbs, chrome chain, ceiling hooks and braided black flex. All ready to be installed.
