About the Item

Elegant twelve-light chandelier composed of a hand-wrought gilt iron frame draped with rock-crystal drops, crystal prisms, and bead garlands. The tiered cage rises to a coronet hung with faceted pendants and terminates in a large spherical rock-crystal finial. Scrolled arms with bobeches and candle sleeves complete the classic Italian look—sparkling yet restrained. * Origin: Italy * Date: Mid-20th century * Dimensions: 48 in. H × 32 in. Dia.
