About the Item

This is a fabulous vintage pendant light. It is a married combination of large copper shade from a decommissioned ship coupled with a large, prismatic Holophane lead crystal plate. Includes brass canopy and 4' of chain. Both date to the mid 1900's. Stunning. Wired for American use with a standard base bulb. The prismatic work in the lead crystal lens creates more light and is diffused throughout the plate. The fixture itself is 8", plus the chain and canopy adds another 4 feet in length. It has three standard base bulb holders. While the photo indicates a pair, this is a listing for one. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips.
