About the Item
This mid-century pendant was designed and manufactured in France in the 1950s.
The light features a lantern-shaped pendant with a milk glass cylindrical diffuser, enclosed by black metal ribs that create an elegant open cage structure. Suspended from a matching black canopy and chain, the fixture is accented with small brass details, including a decorative finial at the base. The combination of dark metal, white glass, and brass highlights reflects the sophisticated restraint of mid-century European design with clear Art Deco influence. This pendant provides gentle, atmospheric illumination and works beautifully in hallways, stairwells, or entryways where sculptural presence and timeless character are desired.
Height of fixture (without chain, canopy, ball finial, top conical piece): 10.7" (27 cm).
The pendant has been rewired and requests one E26/E27 bulb. All lights are converted for use in US.
