Mid-century Bohemian Marie Therese Baccarat Style 16 Light Crystal Chandelier, 1930's. Rare and large Italian Marie Therese sixteen light crystal chandelier with a shaped central stem surmounted by beautifully contoured scrolling arms. These lovely two-tier chandelier of crystal, cut-crystal and gilt metal featuring sixteen serpentine arms elaborately embellished overall with draped crystal beads, cut crystal pendants, prisms, crystal chains and drops. The base with a faceted large cut crystal ball. 16 lights arranged in two orders of tiers, 8 + 8 lights. Very fully arranged with crystal strips, rosettes and fully dressed in crystal chains and drops. The entire fixture draped in swags of crystal pendants, prisms and rosettes. Perfect condition restored and in perfectly working condition for EU wiring standards. This two-tier version of the Maria Theresa chandelier is decorated with various hand-cut glasses that capture and reflect the light of 16 candle bulbs resting in floral shaped “bobeches”.
