About the Item
For centuries, Murano chandeliers have captivated designers, celebrities, and discerning homeowners. Each chandelier is handcrafted through intricate glassblowing techniques and the skilled blending of mineral oxides, creating the soft, distinctive colors of Murano glass.
This exquisite five-arm chandelier features ribbed arms that flow into undulating bobeches, and a basin bowl adorned with curling fluted scrolls, reminiscent of a bubbling champagne fountain. The crown and finial are meticulously finished to enhance the sparkling effect of light, mimicking water's reflective surface.
Although originally equipped with discreet hooks on the arms for decorative hangings, these were absent when we acquired the chandelier. We have come to appreciate its streamlined elegance and believe it adds a refined touch as is.
This chandelier promises to transform any space, casting a beautiful glow and creating an atmosphere of sophisticated charm.

- Condition:Rewired: Rewired to US electrical standards. Uses 5 base-size bulbs. Has 3 feet of adjustable wire at the top for the preferred hanging height. Canopy and chain are not included. Repaired: Arms: The chandelier was originally designed with discreet hooks on the arms for decorative hangings, which are no longer present. One arm has been fitted with a different metal cap at its base following gesso restoration for required stability. Wear consistent with age and use. Flea-bit chips throughout but the glass is intact. See images. Requires special handling and shipping by an experienced white glove service experienced in dismantling, packaging, and reassembling.
