Mid-Century French Riviera Bamboo and Rattan Pendant Lamp, circa 1960s
A charming and beautifully crafted pendant lamp from the French Riviera, handmade in France around the 1960s. This piece is a wonderful example of mid-century coastal design, featuring warm bamboo and woven rattan in an elegant, organic form.
Its natural materials and timeless style make it an ideal choice for a welcoming entrance hallway or a character-filled kitchen—whether vintage, antique, or eclectic in decor. It would also be a lovely addition to a beachside retreat or country home, adding warmth and texture to any space.
The lamp is in excellent vintage condition. The only notable flaw is a small crack in the inner parchment or perspex lining, which is barely visible once the lamp is hung. Alternatively, the lining can be removed entirely depending on your preference.
