About the Item

The Bumling by Atelje Lyktan, based on a design by Anders Pehrson from the 1960s. Shown here in a rare version with an aluminum surface. A timeless classic of Scandinavian design. Particularly noteworthy here is the shiny polished aluminum finish. These older versions of the Bumling are of heavier quality than today's models. The lamp primarily casts direct light downwards. A slight glow also enters the room through the gap at the top. A striking detail are the three flat screw heads on the lampshade. A push switch is also integrated into the top of the lamp.
