About the Item
This elegant design sputnik light was realized in Italy, circa in the 1960s. It consists of twelve torus-shaped shades of hand-blown Murano glass in a beautiful white-clear tone, embedded with an abundance of tiny bubbles reminiscent of bubbling water, and white-clear accents. The shades are attached to a chrome central frame with cylindrical rods of the same material.
With its beautiful glass quality and bold silhouette, this piece embodies the verve and panache that discerning collectors of top-notch Italian Mid-Century Modern design absolutely appreciate. It has been rewired and is in excellent condition. On request, we include a chrome rod in your desired length of the delivery free of charge. The chandelier can accommodate 12 candelabra bulbs with a light output of up to 720 watts.
Manufactured in Italy in the 1960s.
Style: mid-century modern, space age.
Measures: dm (38 cm), height 45" in. (114 cm), dm per glass disc 5.9" in. (15 cm).
Service: on request we provide a chromed rod in the desired length free of charge.
Lighting: takes twelve small Edison E14 base screw bulbs per lamp. Ready to use worldwide.
Wattage: we recommend up to 60w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v.
Condition: very good vintage condition. No imperfections to the glass. One spare part will be added.
Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v. Delivery without bulbs.
Shipping: in order to ensure safe transport, the lamp will be dismantled and carefully packed. Assembly required. We recommend expedited shipping, only.
