About the Item

This elegant Mid Century Modern pendant was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- circa 1960. It features a cylindrical form that tapers subtle at each end that hangs from a brass chain and canopy. The glass offers a subtle cross hatching pattern in semi opaque white Murano glass. With its beautiful quality of craftsmanship and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. Italy, circa 1960 Dimensions: 5.75" Diameter X 39.75"Height.
