About the Item
A beautiful Mid-Century Modern Finnish ceiling lamp from the 1950s–60s. The pendant features a brass canopy with three hanging lights suspended from brass tubes, each fitted with paper shades decorated with minimal pine details. A poetic modernistic natural detail often seen in Nordic design language of the era. Orno has similar designs.
This lamp works perfectly above a dining table, kitchen island, or countertop, and also becomes a sculptural, atmospheric accent when placed in a corner or lounge setting. The height is adjustable, as each light hangs from a cord, and the three light sources can be set at different lengths for a more asymmetrical and artistic composition if desired.
Original condition with no restorations made. Moderate wear consistent with age and use.
