Pendant light dates from the 1970s, embodies the cool, industrial aesthetic of the Space Age era. The design features a prominent cylindrical stem finished in high-polish chrome, which transitions into a compact, bell-shaped shade painted in matte black.
A subtle yet effective design detail is the ring of small perforated holes where the chrome meets the black shade. These perforations allow for heat dissipation while creating a delicate "starry" circle of light around the fixture when illuminated. The interior is painted white to maximize light reflection.
